Closely tied to the pop-music bands that fill the streets and halls of Berlin with teen hopefuls, this light comedy-drama features one such band as its members raise money by doing sundry odd-jobs like raking leaves or acting in a children's film. They dream of playing at the vast Waldebuhne concert arena but in the meantime, they work out their routines in relatively sound-proof basements with second-hand instruments. With any luck, the hoped-for grand debut will stunningly materialize -- these are young teens, after all.
