Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
In the industrial center of Lodz, two aimless young men, who have been guilty of nothing more serious than loitering, decide they want a vacation at a seaside resort. To get there, they kill a taxi driver and steal his money and his car. This provides insufficient booty, and they kill again in order to be able to proceed with enough funds. Their crime spree doesn't go unnoticed, and they separate during the pursuit. Both men are caught, and neither can give a reason for the crimes. This Polish police procedural won an award from the 1974 Mannheim Film Festival.
