Synopsis by Jonathan Crow
Screenwriter-turned-filmmaker Yuji Sakamoto makes his directorial debut with this quirky, deadpan film about a cure for boredom. Drowning in her own ennui, Nami (Maki Sakai) -- a free-spirited young lass completely unburdened by conventional morals or common sense -- flippantly shoots her boyfriend (Masatoshi Nagase) and stuffs the body in a refrigerator. Deciding that she wants to deposit the remains by the sea, she enlists a variety of strapping lads ranging from an Iranian janitor (Omid Moradi) to a mascara-happy goth named Masayuki (Issei Ishida) to help her lug the fridge to the beach.
