Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
This film is a story told from the perspective of mainland China in the 1970s, detailing the long-suffering women of China's feudal era who were unfulfilled on any professional or realistic level because of their downtrodden status. Against this background of feudalism and running-dog capitalist misery (directed by the daughter of the Chinese Deputy Prime Minister) are some interesting shots of frogs, sunsets, and trains.
