Synopsis by Janiss Garza

In this melodrama, set in the California mission days, Jose (Emory Johnson) gets involved with a bandit (Alfred Allen) who wants to play Robin Hood. Jose goes along with the idea and he decides to rob the home of a wealthy land owner. But he gets lost in the desert and is rescued by the very same land owner and his daughter (Dorothy Davenport). Jose falls in love with the girl and mends his ways. But he discovers that the bandit still plans to break into the house and he stops him just in time. The bandit reforms, too, and enters a mission, while Jose marries his sweetheart.
