This video demonstrates restorative yoga, which relaxes and rejuvenates the body, mind, and spirit. Relaxation practices require visualization and deep breathing techniques to achieve the goal of tranquility and inner peace. This video contains a ten-minute warm-up and two different yoga routines. The first, instructed by Patricia Walden, is a series of flowing poses which restore the body and relax the mind. The second workout, led by Rodney Yee. is a routine of stretches and sitting poses that settle the body. These exercises can aid in relieving symptoms of PMS, back and muscle pain, high blood pressure, and headaches.
