Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This opium-laced crime drama finds a desperate young woman begging a stranger for help. She collapses and dies, and a doctor traces the cause to opium addiction. The man looks into the woman's death and disappears. An inspector from Scotland Yard (Stanley Seaward) teams up with French super sleuth (Harvey Braban) to find the missing man. They search the opium dens and meet Mrs. King (Kitty Fielder), who is really the deadly and seductive "Queen Of The Poppies." The detectives find the missing man tied to a chair and drugged into a state of hopeless dependence by the evil Queen. The yellow claw symbolizes the hold the opium has on the addict.
