Synopsis by Hal Erickson
In the second half of the two-part Sanctuary, Magneto has apparently been killed, and X-Men Beast, Gambit, and Xavier are being held for murder on Asteroid M. It is all the handiwork of the treacherous Fabian Cortez, who is demagoguing the alleged assassination as part of his scheme to wrest control of the asteroid and destroy the earth. In truth, however, Magneto is not dead -- though he might as well be. Tension mounts as the X-Men go head to head with Cortez, while the immobilized Magneto hurtles towards certain doom.
