Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Virginia Pearson, one of the many "vamp" actresses under contract to Fox Studios, was back in her element in The Wrath of Love. Pearson plays Roma Winet, the Elinor Glyn-like authoress of a steamy novel entitled "Passion." Following the example of her literary characters, Roma embarks upon a torrid affair with Bob Lawson (Irving Cummings), heretofore a happily married man. When Bob tries to break up the affair, the possessive and insanely jealous Roma refuses to let him go. The end result of all this intrigue is two murders, with Bob simultaneously trying to save himself from the gallows and attempting to rescue his best friend from a similar fate. An average effort, The Wrath of Love might have been better but for the illogical behavior of the principal characters.
