Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
In this travelogue, the viewer boards the incomparable Royal Scotsman for a breathtaking trip through the rugged Scottish countryside. The train is pulled by a diesel engine and has just nine cars, carrying 36 passengers. The interior of the train is outfitted in the style of a grand, Edwardian country house. It has all the romance of a time gone by, but all the luxuries of today. The dining car and observation car provide the perfect locations to watch historic castles and romantic vistas pass by the train windows.
