Synopsis by Ben Schultz
A petty thief (Jean Jean) endures hardships and humiliations while serving time in a Dominican prison for stealing a motorcycle. Using a complex sign language called "woodpecking," he serves as a go-between for a violent inmate (Ramón Emilio Candelario) and the latter's girlfriend (Judith Rodriguez Perez) at a nearby women's prison. However, both the thief and the girlfriend's lives are endangered when they fall in love. José María Cabral wrote and directed this prison drama, which co-stars Carlota Carretero and Mario Nunez.
