Chinese filmmaker Yan Shunkai directed this drama and stars as A Tan, the son of a Taiwanese pharmacist. A Tan's wife, Xiuyun (Zhang Xiaomin), stayed in China, and while his parents are happy that he has been successful financially, they continue pressing him to remarry so they can have a grandchild. A Tan remains faithful to his wife, however, and eventually engineers a way to covertly visit the mainland and see her again for the first time in years. Several months later, when A Tan is back in Taiwan, he makes his parents very happy by announcing that Xiuyun has given birth to their grandchild. Jia Meiying and Ye Huixian co-star.
