Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Produced by something called Harmony Film Company, this obscure silent Western starred the equally obscure Jack Livingston as Jim Hudson, a young rancher attempting to pay his debts by entering a rodeo competition. Jim's fiancée Cora, meanwhile, is pursued by her own guardian. When Jim strikes oil on his property, the guardian kidnaps Cora to force her into marrying him instead of the newly rich Jim. Jim quickly locates the villain's hideaway and rescues Cora. A former leading man to Bessie Barriscale, Lenore Ulric, and Olive Thomas, Jack Livingston's career declined in the early '20s. He never made it as a viable Western star and retired prior to sound.
