Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Aspiring to a career in art, heroine Thisbe Lorraine (Bessie Barriscale) heads to the Latin Quarter in Paris. She doesn't make much headway as an artist, but she does manage to become the mistress of a European nobleman. After this romantic episode comes to a unhappy end, Thisbe moves to New York, where she gains fame and fortune as a novelist. Hoping to cap her success with True Love (as opposed to the "False" variety offered her by the nobleman), Thisbe is warned by a fortune-teller known as Tea-Cup Ann (Aggie Herring) that she will never find the man of her dreams. Subsequent events seem to prove that Tea-Cup Ann was telling the truth, but Thisbe finally breaks the "curse" when she falls for Le Saint Hammond (George Fisher), who after much soul-searching is willing to forgive the heroine for her previous amours.
