Several Wiseguy regulars appear in "different" roles in this flashback episode, filmed in black and white. While going through the effects of his late brother, undercover agent Vinnie (Ken Wahl) finds a notebook left behind by his father John (also played byWahl). Reading the book, Vinnie learns of a dark chapter in his family's past, when his financially strapped dad was reduced to running numbers for the Mob. In the course of his brush with crime, John fell in love with Teresa (Patti D'Arbanville), the girl friend of crime boss Sam Roselli (Chazz Palmintieri).
