Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
It is the middle of winter, and Charlie (Peter Hasslinger) a young man who has decided to reject his life as it had been going, opts for a leisurely trip to the south (from Amsterdam) when he stops for a brief hiatus in a small Swiss town. There he wanders from cafes, to pool halls and bars, and as he walks the quiet streets and makes (and leaves) new acquaintances, he starts to attain a certain peacefulness that had been lacking until now. When he looks around and sees people caught in the grinding routine of daily existence, he is even less inclined to go back to the life he knew in Amsterdam.
