Synopsis by Violet LeVoit
A young Canadian poet (voiced by Sandra Oh) takes her first big journey away from her adoptive grandparents (Nancy Kwan and Eddy Ko) to attend a poetry festival in Iran. While there, she becomes entranced with Persian culture and obsessed with understanding her half-Persian heritage. Ellen Page and Shohreh Aghdashloo also lend their voices to this animated coming-of-age story.
