Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Hosted by naturalist Jack Hubley, the weekly syndicated series Wild Moments was an outgrowth of Hubley's special-feature appearances on Lancaster, PA, TV station WGAL. Accompanied by his eight-year-old English setter, Trusty, Hubley embarked upon a weekly odyssey through the U.S. (and later the world), seeking out unusual and exotic animals, and imparting "fun facts" about the wildlife at hand. First telecast in the fall of 1999 through the facilities of Hearst-Argyle Television, the 24 episodes of Wild Moments were repackaged and given a wider distribution by NBC Enterprises in 2002.
