Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This Lubin split-reel comedy starring Mae Hotely appears on the same reel as His Sudden Recovery, which starred Oliver Hardy. Hardy also has a role in Who's Boss, but it's only a bit as one of the Riverside Police force -- Lubin's answer to Mack Sennett's Keystone Kops. Sam Briggs (Harry Lorraine) may be the Chief of the police force, but it's his suffragette wife, Sue (Hotely), who rules the roost at home. In fact, she pretty much has the whole force wrapped around her little finger. Pat Murphy (Ben Walker) is injured by Briggs, and the cops bring him to Sue so she can take care of him. This turns into a power play between Briggs and his wife. He tries to call his men from the house, but they prefer to be under Sue's command, and at her request, they attack him. Briggs finally is forced to admit that Sue is the boss, and she serves everyone pie. Guess how Briggs gets his?
