Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
Through a series of 14 different interviews with the heads of various national War Refugee Boards, and other international and national committees that were formed to support Jews seeking asylum before and during World War II, the producer and director Laurence Jarvik shows that much more could have been done to save the future victims of the Holocaust. In spite of the sometimes dry deliveries and low technical quality of the film, the subject of the interviews is compelling in itself and will keep most audiences listening when there is not much to actually see.
