Republic Pictures' Who Killed Aunt Maggie?, an "old mansion" whodunit that will shock no one, is best viewed as a battle of the Barries -- Wendy and Mona, that is. Two of Hollywood's best "other women" collide in this otherwise humdrum affair, with top-billed Wendy Barrie emerging as the winner to no one's surprise. There is also Willie Best at his most indefensibly stereotypical, a sure sign that Who Killed Aunt Maggie will stay off the airwaves in a foreseeable future.
