Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Kenya-born balladeer Roger Whittaker was the host of this British musical quiz program. Airing around lunchtime for an audience of housewives (on both sides of the TV screen), the series featured guest performers who would render snatches of popular songs, which the audience members would attempt to identify. Although many of the guests were merely regional attractions, a few enjoyed worldwide popularity, notably the Bee Gees. Whittaker's World of Music was seen beginning in 1977 or thereabouts.
