Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Although serial star Pearl White had made feature-length films before, this was her first one for the Fox studios. Rhoda (White) has been raised by her father (George Pauncefort) to lead a life of crime. But when he dies before a wooden image of Christ while Rhoda is robbing the church's poor box, she decides to reform. In fact, she decides to reform her associates too. She runs into trouble when the gang's leader opposes her attempts to put "the Sparrow" (Walter Lewis) on the straight and narrow path, but she manages to save him for his mother's sake anyway. This picture was adapted from the book by Frank L. Packard. Packard also wrote The Miracle Man, a crime drama which was made into a very successful film.
