Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Nora Carey (Ethel Clayton) works in a factory to support herself and her sister Katherine (Katherine Johnson). The foreman, Marlinoff (Frank Beamish) torments her until she is finally rescued by the factory owner's son, Hugh Travers (Frank Mayo). The next day, however, Nora is discharged. Hugh takes pity on her so he pays her living expenses and sends her sister to boarding school. The whole set up is innocent, but Marlinoff goes to Hugh's father, John (Jack Drumier), and says Nora is being kept. Travers angrily fires Marlinoff, but then he discovers there is truth to his claim. Since Travers has become engaged to a young girl, Eleanor Van Schuyler (Pinna Nesbit), he decides to disown his son, and put her in his will instead. But while he and his lawyers are making the changes, the disgruntled Marlinoff bombs the factory and kills them. The will remains as is and Hugh gets both the Travers fortune and Nora.
