Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Jack Hoxie's third film for Universal has the heavy-set star playing a milk deliveryman who inherits one-half of a Western ranch. The other half belongs to a headstrong waitress (Phantom of the Opera's Mary Philbin) and the two do not get along. However, on the ranch they must show a united front, especially when confronted with a crooked ranch foreman (Tom Mix regular Sid Jordan). He attempts to scare them away with a couple of fake holdups, an equally fraudulent Indian raid, and a gun duel fought with blanks. It is all rather tongue-in-cheek, something Hoxie, unfortunately, wasn't too comfortable playing. In fact, Where Is This West? looked an awful lot like a leftover Hoot Gibson script.
