Synopsis by Janiss Garza
Although her conventional father (Louis Thiel) disapproves, Dorothy Miller (Alma Hanlon) has aspirations to become a famous writer. When a young artist (Harry Benham) shows up in the village on a hunt for local color, he and Dorothy begin a romance. Eventually he leaves, and Dorothy runs away from home to meet up with him in the city, where she finds his father has since disowned him, giving the two even more in common. But Dorothy writes a story about her own experiences that wins acceptance from the artist's father, and Dorothy and her beau reconcile with their fathers for a happy ending all around.
