Synopsis by Janiss Garza

After starring in a couple of features, apparently Dustin Farnum felt confident enough to direct one himself. This picture was produced by a company called the Miller Brothers, who were known for their outdoorsy Western fare -- a medium in which Farnum had some experience (not only was his first film The Squaw Man, he had just completed The Virginian). While standing on the bank of the Osage River, an elderly couple contemplates their past: Dan Cooper was looking for adventure and found it when he helped a lone soldier fight off a group of Indians. The soldier was badly wounded and Dan took him back to Fort Leavensworth, where he met his sister Anna. A romance developed between the two, but Dan was forced to flee when he was accused of murder. Anna, believing him guilty, was heartbroken. Dan took refuge with some miners, but they were attacked by Indians. The cavalry arrived and drove them back, but the Indians returned stronger than ever. The white men found themselves trapped on a little island. Dan volunteered to sneak past his attackres and go for help. More troops responded to his plea and the Indians were defeated. Dan's name was cleared when the real killer was discovered, and he and Anna were reunited.
