Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Dapper, top-hatted comedian Raymond Griffith stars in the lightweight farce Wet Paint. Disappointed when he discovers that his bride to be Dolores Costello has accepted his proposal merely to win a bet, Griffith breaks off the engagement. He further vows to marry the next woman he meets, just to spite Costello. Alas, the next woman to come along is already married, placing our hero in a very ticklish situation. All of this leads to an extended "drunk" sequence, which snowballs into a car chase through the streets of Los Angeles. Like all too many of Griffith's starring features, Wet Paint apparently no longer exists in its original form.
