Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Cowgirl Josie Sedgwick stars in this minor Western romance as an Eastern girl who falls for a handsome ranch foreman (Art Straton) to the chagrin of a local girl (Hazel Hart). The latter has one of her henchmen (Floyd Taliaferro, aka Wally Wales) intercept a love letter from the newcomer in hope that the foreman will believe his affection is unrequited. Soon the Eastern girl experiences a series of cattle rustlings, and when the culprit proves to be the local girl's associate, everything, including the romantic entanglements, is resolved. Western Hearts was the first installment of a proposed series starring newcomer Straton. He wasn't a success as a Western hero, however, and the series continued with Pete Morrison.
