Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Prolific Gower Gulch cowboy Neal Hart both wrote, directed, and starred in this low-budget silent Western melodrama. Hart (a distant cousin of William S. Hart) played Jack Laramie, a United States Marshal charged with locating a young girl whose father and brother have been killed by raiders. The girl (Hazel Maye, formerly Hazel Deane), it turns out, is held captive by the nasty saloon owner (William Quinn), but after several false attempts, Laramie manages to locate the hideout. Quinn is killed in the climactic fight and Laramie asks the girl to marry him.
