Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
A standard Pete Morrison oater, this silent Western was nevertheless picked up for distribution by Vitagraph, mere months before that company was swallowed up by Warner Brothers. Morrison rescues lovely Beth Darlington from a runaway stage whose driver has been shot by a gang of bandits. Both Morrison and the girl are both abducted by the villains but are later saved by Lightning, Pete's clever horse. Leading lady Darlington was for unknown reasons billed "Beth Darling" in this film, which also featured Frank Lackteen, Milburn Morante, Jay Morley, Joe Bennett, and the vamp-ish Frances Martinson.
