Synopsis by Hal Erickson

This Raymond Griffith vehicle casts the debonair, top-hatted comedian as Algernon Schuyler Van Twitter, perennial "best man" at all his friends' weddings. To save his pal Tom Milbank (Hallam Cooley) from public disgrace, Algy tries to get his hands on some incriminating love letters in the possession of sexy Russian dancer Mimi de Lyle (Vivien Oakland). Aware that Mimi's price is a $20,000 necklace, Algy arranges to take the piece home "on approval," promising to return it after the requisite 24 hours. Unfortunately, the necklace finds its way around the neck of a pigeon, which promptly takes flight. Algy spends the rest of the picture chasing down the elusive bird, culminating in a perilous odyssey along a winding mountain road.
