This uneven melodrama finds a woman adopting a young girl after her father is sent to Australia for his part in a burglary attempt. Years pass and the girl and her real father are reunited in an opium den when they fall through a trap door. Two childhood sweethearts also find each other after years of separation. Gertrude McCoy, Zoe Palmer, Lewis Willoughby, and William Freshman are the main performers.
