Synopsis by Alice Day
In the Warwick History series, a clear perspective of past events is presented by professors and other experts on European history. The programs assume a certain knowledge of major occurrences, and are aimed at high school and college students. The events are placed within the cultural and sociological context of their times, and can be better understood with this approach. Warwick History: The English Civil War explores the three civil conflicts between the royal forces and Parliament. Sites of the actual battles are shown, and include Marston Mor and Edgehill.
