Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
This is the first feature film made entirely in Surinam by a Surinamese director. The story concerns a student returning to the country from the Netherlands (Surinam was a Dutch colony). When he begins a relationship with a girl of Hindu ancestry, both his and the girl's parents are upset. Things are further complicated when his Dutch girlfriend arrives on the scene.
