Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
This drama is a literal adaptation from the original story by Alexander Pushkin. Silvio (Mikhail Kozakov) was subjected to public humiliation when he refused to return fire in a pistol duel with a count (Yuri Yakovlev). Years have past, but the irate Silvio seethes with anger over his past decision. Now that the count is a married family man, Silvio hopes to return the shot because now the count has more to lose, and the troubled Silvio makes plans to avenge the incident that has marred his life.
