Synopsis by Sandra Brennan
Produced in Tajakistan and filmed and remote village populated by the last bastion of an ancient tribe that was decimated by Arab conquerors centuries before, this drama provides slices from lives that few outsiders have ever seen. The small village is far away from any civilization. Normally an unrelentingly sleepy, quiet place, they find excitement in the discovery of an unidentified dead man in a shepherd's field. The dour villagers' reactions to the corpse provide the focus of the film.
