In the mid-1950s, a young Swiss woman named Alice (Alba Rohrwacher) decides to leave her homeland behind in pursuit of new horizons in Lebanon. At first, she finds adventure and a renewed sense of purpose until the threat of war looms, bringing grief, tragedy, and danger to her otherwise idyllic life. Chloé Mazlo co-writes and directs the drama. Co-starring Wajdi Mouawad, Isabelle Zighondi, and Mariah Tannoury.
