Travel to the birthplace of Christianity and follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ by touring 71 biblical cities in this two-tape documentary, subtitled A Spiritual Journey Back in Time. On the first program, stand at the banks of the Jordan River and watch people being baptized, just as they were thousands of years ago. Visit a church in Cana of Galilee where it is said Jesus Christ performed his first miracle of turning water into wine. On the second program, join in an Easter observance in Jerusalem, including a Good Friday re-enactment, and a Christmas celebration in Bethlehem, ending with a midnight Mass. There is no narration, but rather religious hymns, instrumental music, and choir chanting in the background. Written on-screen is the name of each city and site, along with bible passages that pertain to that area.
