Synopsis by Cecilia Cygnar

This documentary, volume nine of the ten-part Vietnam: War in the Jungle series, focuses on the tricks and covert surprises the U.S. Armed Forces used to fight the communist Viet Cong during this highly controversial ten-year war. It shows how the U.S. used as many of its modern, high-tech advances as possible, including faster and lighter aircraft, highly developed radar systems, more accurate and responsive weaponry, and satellites that could track war efforts from space. Just as the Vietnamese guerillas had tricks up their sleeves with napalm and other device-based traps, the video explains how the American forces employed modern technological gadgets and other defense tactics to catch the enemy off-guard.
