Synopsis
Journalist David Lamb, who covered the Vietnam war for the L.A. Times, explores the country via interviews with six Vietnamese, including a man who left Vietnam at the end of the war (he was 13) and returned in 1994; a woman imprisoned by the South Vietnamese as a teen (she was a Viet Cong commando); a protest singer whose songs were banned by both the North and South Vietnamese governments; and a pilot who once bombed the airport (in Ho Chi Minh City) he now flies into and out of regularly.
