This British summertime series was put together on behalf of the BBC's Scotland service. Accordingly, the show was in the hands of four versatile Scottish comedians, three men and one woman. Specializing in fast-moving sketches and lampoons, the weekly, half-hour series was undeniably hilarious, even when the burr-heavy dialogue was impossible to understand. Velvet Soup premiered on June 10, 2001.
