Synopsis by Bhob Stewart
On New Year's Eve, the parents of teenager Isabell (Charlotte Lotten Stahlberg) leave to celebrate, but Isabell fakes an illness in order to stay home and throw a party of her own in the large house. Unfortunately, Isabell is unable to keep control of all activity after uninvited guests arrive on the scene to crash the party. Some search for drugs in her father's medicine locker. Amid drinking and vomiting, manipulator Vera (Anna-Thea Schonmeyer) begins pitting people against each other, but things turn really nasty after the family's roomer (Olle Sarri), an older student, rejects Vera. In Altman-like fashion, director Ella Lemhagen works closely with her actors, involving them as collaborators and threading their personal experiences and personalities into the narrative tapestry.
