Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Expert farceur Emmy Wehlen plays the title character in The Amateur Adventuress. A plain girl of modest means, Wehlen decides to pose as a notorious vamp. This gets her into society-and in a lot of hot water. All misunderstandings are forgotten in reel five, when she melts into the arms of leading man Allen Sears. An unexpectedly slim Eugene Pallette, here billed as Gene Pallette, plays a major role in this harmless froth.
