Synopsis by Travis Norris
Clarisse (Vicky Krieps) is a mother consumed by the fear of her family leaving her. Thus, she decides to leave first and avoid being hurt. The ever-increasing distance that develops between her and her family acts as a trigger. When she leaves, the family is left to figure out what happened. Clarisse’s disappearance is shrouded in mystery, as she is consumed by an unbearable panic. Director-writer Mathieu Amalric adapts Claudine Galea’s play "Je reviens de loin" for the screen.
