Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Directed and co-written by Lucile Hadzihalilovic, this dark mystery drama is an adaptation of the 2019 novel by Brian Catling. Set in mid-twentieth-century Europe, the story follows Albert (Paul Hilton) as he renders services to a mysterious employer known only as the Master, who gives instructions via phone calls. Albert's main duty is to look after ten-year-old Mia (Romane Hemelaers), whose teeth are made of ice. Daily, he replaces the ice teeth set in a strange contraption on the girl's face. One day, the Master instructs him to prepare Mia to leave the house, and the mystery continues.
