After Blue, directed by Bertrand Mandico, tells the story of Roxy, who is expelled from their community for releasing an assassin. On her idyllic alien planet populated by only women, lonely teenager Roxy discovers a buried woman. When she frees her, a whirlwind of death ensues. Roxy and her mother Zora are blamed for the carnage and expelled from their community. They are ordered to track down the assassin. The pair must traverse the surrealistic terrain of their filthy paradise planet in order to accomplish this, discovering aspects of their world that were previously hidden.
