Directed by Janus Metz, this spy thriller features two CIA operatives, Henry (Chris Pine) and Celia (Thandiwe Newton), who meet up at California’s Carmel-by-the-Sea and reminisce about their former lives in Europe. In particular, they are haunted by what happened six years prior in Vienna, where they were both stationed as coworkers and lovers when an airplane hijacking incident wasn’t prevented. However, present-day evidence suggests that there could have been a mole in their group that led to this disaster, and it could be either of them. Adapted by Olen Steinhauer and based on his novel.
