Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
After serving her twenty-year sentence for committing a grisly and brutal crime, Ruth Slater (Sandra Bullock) struggles to reintegrate into civilian life. Despite her new career as a carpenter, her conservative community continues to express its disdain and wariness over her presence. Nora Fingscheidt directs this adaptation of the British television series of the same name that co-stars Jon Bernthal, Viola Davis, Linda Emond, Vincent D'Onofrio, and Richard Thomas.
