Synopsis by Olivia Cantor
Set in 1980s Naples, young teen Fabietto Schisa (Filippo Scotti) finds himself caught in the midst of several unusual and unrelated circumstances during his summer vacation. As he explores the set of a film beginning production, he falls in with a band of notorious thugs who encourage him to embark on a journey of sexual liberation. However, his uninhibited summer soon crumbles beneath the weight of disenchantment and feelings of confinement in his sleepy hometown. Paolo Sorrentino writes and directs this coming-of-age film loosely based on his own adolescent experiences.
